The trade and manufacturing industries are set to be the BIG GROWTH areas over the next 10+ years with Australia looking to re-establish itself as an independent and self sufficient hub for quality building and manufacturing.

If you’re looking to get yourself into a career that has limitless potential the TTC Engineering Pathways, Skills For Work & Healthy Lifestyle Program is the kick start you need!

Starting 19th April 2021

Teens Take Control and Skills Generation are offering eligible young adults aged 15 to 25 who are not at school and not employed an opportunity to enroll in a one of a kind program that will help them to develop a healthy lifestyle while gaining quality work and trade like skills through an MEM20413 Certificate II In Engineering Pathways and FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways.

With a huge practical component the students will learn about and develop skills such as:


Planning and organising projects

Use of hand and power tools

Basic welding and fabrication

Basic Carpentry

Resume and interview skills

Workplace health and safety

Communication in the workplace

Work effectively as a team

First Aid & CPR

As part of the Healthy Lifestyle component our partners at Core Strength Fitness offer all participants full access to their facilities, fitness and Muay Thai classes for a six month period from the beginning of their course.


Course Delivery

12 weeks

Monday to Thursday/Friday

9:00am till 3:00pm‬

Morning tea and lunch provided

Teens Take Control is proud to deliver accredited training on behalf of Skills Generation, RTO No 41008.

Teens Take Control (TTC) is a youth based non for-profit charity that endorses an individual focus and begins to reconnect young people with a sense of community through our various programs and services.

By engaging with the young person and addressing the needs they may require we integrate crucial life and social skills that will only empower the young person further.


TTC possess a diverse network of connections and collaborators who are like minded in their advocacy for the improvement in the well being of young people overall.


Teens Take Control was founded on the following five rules and values that are integral to each and every program we passionately deliver here.


The rules set the foundation and our values are individually focused to better address and service the needs put forth by the individual engaging with our services.
